I have been working in healthcare for several years, improving the quality of life of individuals by devoting myself to the emotional and physical needs of others. I began my journey as a healthcare practitioner in 2013 when I started working as a member of a leisure and lifestyle team in a non-profit aged care setting.
To further devote myself to helping others, in 2014 I completed the Certificate IV in Massage Therapy and in 2015 the Diploma of Remedial Massage.
I am an enthusiastic Remedial Massage Therapist here at Lotus Natural Therapies and a dedicated member of Massage and Myotherapy Australia (MMA).
I am tremendously passionate about dance and have performed a variety of styles since a very young age including tap, jazz, hip hop, ballet and contemporary.
Throughout my life I have experienced several muscle related injuries that have affected by ability to dance. Having my own personal issues and working with therapists has inspired me to want to practice remedial massage. Being a Remedial Massage Therapist means that I can assist my clients who have also experienced similar injuries and assist them in managing their muscular pain and discomfort as well as improving their functional abilities so that they can continue to do what they love.
I am also studying the Bachelor of Disability and Developmental Education at Flinders University in continuing my expedition in helping others and promoting health and wellness.
I look forward to embarking on this wellness journey with you all…..
